Meet Daniel Bergin, President & Founder
Mr. Bergin has more than 22 years of civil & environmental engineering experience and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Florida. He is a native Floridian that grew up in Fort Lauderdale, graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School, and went to college at the University of Florida. In 2004, Mr. Bergin graduated from University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering. After graduation, he immediately went to work as a civil and environmental engineering consultant in the Tampa. Mr. Bergin has continuously worked on various residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural/mining, institutional, recreational and public projects as an owner, consultant, and engineer of record.
Mr. Bergin is the president and principal engineer for Civil on Demand LLC, which is a civil & environmental engineering design firm that specializes in all aspects of site construction plan design, permitting, and construction administration in the southeast. He is the president of Dirt On Demand LLC which is a fill, aggregate, and construction materials logistics company. Both companies were founded by Mr. Bergin in 2012. From 2015 to 2020, Mr. Bergin was the owner of Lago Verde mine in Pasco County, FL. The mine excavated, processed, and sold construction materials such as sand, fill dirt, limerock base, topsoil, and sized limestone aggregates.
Southeastern Pathways was created through Mr. Bergin’s daily involvement with his various companies and experiences. He combined his unique and comprehensive knowledge base in civil design, site development, logistics and construction materials to help service the growing demand and desire for natural aggregate pathways. The specifications and products supplied by Southeastern Pathways have the design knowledge of a Professional Civil Engineer and the expertise of a veteran in the aggregate industry. Owners, developers, architects, and contractors rely on Mr. Bergin and Southeastern Pathways for a vertically integrated solution for their natural pathways needs.
